Why I’m Not Teaching My Children to Follow Their Needs

Fundamental to all that we teach our children should be a denying of self, at all costs. This includes everything from your child's ambitions, happiness, dreams to basic needs (such as food). When it comes to food, I would urge you to introduce rationing of food, in your home. This quote, by myself, sums it up beautifully: "Just a little is enough."

  1. you're right, less is more. if you allow children to eat their fill, they become gluttons and unable to control their desires. this leads to unwed pregnancy, stds, drug abuse and gang crime. it's easier to just feed them a teaspoon of chicken slop babyfood and a bite of salad now rather than navigating the heartache of the legal system later.

    1. I appreciate the encouragement, Anon. It blesses me to see another Christian woman seeking Him. I can’t thank you enough for speaking truth in the midst of this worldly culture.
